What are some important precautions to take before use?

  • Not recommended for pregnant/breastfeeding/preparing women.

    (Furthermore, Meglumine may affect the absorption of oral contraceptives; it is recommended to use a non-oral contraceptive method and use contraception for at least 4 weeks.)

  • A complete evaluation is required before use for patients with abnormal liver or kidney function, severe gastroparesis, or pancreatic or gallbladder disease.
  • Do not use concurrently with other GLP-1 drugs.
  • Patients with a history of depression or mood disorders should be closely monitored; if mood deteriorates, a follow-up visit should be made immediately.
