What precautions should be taken before surgery?
1 Day Before Surgery: Eat easily digestible foods, avoiding fried foods, pineapple, enoki mushrooms, and high-fiber, hard-to-digest foods. If taking aspirin or anticoagulants, inform your doctor in advance and discontinue use as instructed. 8–12 Hours Before Surgery: Completely fasting (no food, no water, no chewing gum). If taking medication, take it with a small amount of water as instructed by your doctor. On the Day of Surgery: Do not wear jewelry, rings, necklaces, earrings, or other metal objects. Remove gel nail polish or nail polish to facilitate monitoring.
